The 'Marriage of the Lamb'
The Apostolic Church is the literal bride of the Lamb of God; a bride who is one with Christ, bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. The bride is the resurrection of the kingdom of David and, the dwelling place and the throne of Christ, the great and eternal king. The bride is adorned with the glorious nature of the King; She is the bride over which Christ rejoices as a young man over his virgin; and the union where the Godhead enjoys love and affection of his bride.
The Book of Revelations prophesies that, the Bride of Christ, is the Mystery of Eternity. For as long as eternity last, the Lord Christ and his Bride, will enjoy heavenly marital bliss. Christ will rejoice over his Bride, in eternal perpetuity. The abode of the Church, is in the throne of God. The Bride of Christ, has on it, the name of God, and the name of the city of God. For his Bride, the Church: Christ smashes the nations of the earth into shivers. For his Bride, the Church: Christ, delivers the trinity (Satan, the Beast and False Prophet) into the lake of fire that burns with brimstone. For his Bride, the Church: Christ, delivers the wicked, into the lake of fire that burns with brimstone. The Bride of Christ, is his all consuming interest, and the tender love of his spirit. Christ, the Bridegroom, has extended a global invitation, for all to come to, his marriage supper. The Lord Christ, made a great supper, and invited many. He sent his servants at supper time to say to them that were invited: Come; for all things are now ready. And they all with one consent began to make excuses. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come. So the servants came, and showed their lord these things.
Then the Lord of the house being angry said to his servants: Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in the poor, maimed, halt, and the blind. And the servants said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. Then the Lord said unto the servants: Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. For I say unto you, that none of those men which were invited shall taste of my supper. Those who refused the invitation, to come to, the supper are: dogs, sorcerers, whoremongers, murderers, idolaters, and whosoever loves and makes a lie. Christ, the Bridegroom, has extended a global invitation, for all to come to, his marriage supper. "Listen! Every one that thirsts! Come to the waters. He that has no money; come buy, and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. The Spirit and the Bride say, Come. And let him that hear say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. ( Isa 55:1; Luk 14:16-25; Rev 22:17).
In the Book of Revelations, the dragon attacks the woman (the saints on the other side of the cross) clothed with the sun. The woman clothed with the sun, is the righteous remnant of Israel. The woman represents those righteous saints, who were waiting for God’s promised Messiah. Those who through faith, subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. Those who through faith, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. The woman represents those righteous saints who through faith, received their dead raised to life again. Those who, were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection. Those who, had trial of cruel mocking, scourges, bonds and imprisonment. Those who, were stoned, sawn asunder, tempted, slain with the sword. Those who, wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, and tormented. Those of who the world was not worthy. Those who, wandered in deserts, mountains, dens and caves of the earth. These are the saints who, obtained a good report through faith. But they did not receive the promise. These are those who are clothed with the sun and the moon under their feet. These are the saints who remained faithful to the promise God made to Abraham and David. They like John, the Baptist, made preparation for the appearance of the Lord Christ. They made preparation for the consolation of Israel. These joyously expected the fulfillment of the promise, God made to bless all nations of the earth, by raising up the fallen kingdom of David; and sit eternally on his throne. (Heb 11:38-40).
As a disobedient, disrespectful and unruly wife insults her husband, so Israel insulted God. As a result, the Lord became full of fury; and was weary with holding it in. So He poured out his wrath upon the children; upon the young men; upon the husband; upon the wife; and upon the aged, that is full of days. In the day when God, took them out of the land of Egypt, he was a husband, to them. But they broke the covenant that God made with their fathers. They became a wife that commits adultery, which takes strangers instead of her husband. On account of their adulterous behavior, God made the land desolate. He made to cease from the streets and cities of Judah, and Jerusalem; the voice of mirth, of gladness; of the Bridegroom, and of the Bride. He took from them the voice of mirth, the voice of gladness; the voice of the Bridegroom; the voice of the Bride; the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle. (Jer 3:20; 6: 9, 11; 7:34; 25:10; 31:32; 33:11; Eze 16:32).
God pleaded with Israel, but she would not listen. Then God said: “Israel will not be my wife, and I will not be her husband, unless she put away her whoredom out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts. I will not be her husband, unless she cease, to follow after her lovers. I will not be her husband, unless she cease her whoredom. If she refuse to cease; she shall be a harlot in the city, and her sons and daughters shall fall by the sword, and the land shall be divided by line; and she shall die in a polluted land: and shall surely go into captivity. And it came to pass, that the Messiah said: “ You serpents, you generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? I sent you prophets, wise men, and scribes. Some you killed; crucified; beat and persecuted from city to city. Upon your head shall fall, all the righteous blood shed upon the earth. All these things fall upon Mystery Babylon. All these things shall fall upon Jerusalem. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that kill the prophets, and stone them which are sent unto you, how often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, You shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that come in the name of the Lord. Unless you call Christ, Blessed: “Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest. Your synagogues are, the seat of Satan. I will strip you of your inheritance, and make you, come and worship before the feet of the Apostle's Gospel, whom I love them. (Amo 7:17; Hos 1:2; 2:2, 7; Joe 1:8; Mic 3:12; Mat 23:33-39; Rev 3:9).
In the Book of Revelations, the Bride of Christ is contrasted with Mystery Babylon, earthly Jerusalem, the Whore. The apostate religion of the whore, and her daughters, are damned to an eternal perdition. The seven angels said, come and see the judgment of the great whore that sits upon many waters. The whore with whom the kings of the earth committ fornication. The great whore which made the inhabitants of the earth drunk with the wine of her fornication. I saw this woman sitting upon the king of the bottomless pit. This woman was arrayed and decked with very precious jewelry. She had a golden cup in her hand; a cup full of abominations and fornication. On her forehead is written: “Mystery, Babylon the Great, The Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the earth”. She was drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. This Mystery, Babylon the Great, is that great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. This woman is, that great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth. This woman and the king of the bottomless pit have one mind. Their mind is to make war with the Lamb. The king of the bottomless pit will hate the whore, and make her desolate and naked.
The king from the bottomless pit, will eat her flesh; and burn her with fire, until this prophecy of God is fulfilled. This whore, is the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. Her sins have reached unto heaven. God has remembered to fill her cup with double torment and sorrow. God has remembered to reward her double for her iniquities. In one hour she will be made desolate. God will avenge his Bride, on her, because in the whore was found the blood of prophets, saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth. Therefore, a mighty angel will take a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, and say: “with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. And the voice of harpers, musicians, pipers, trumpeters, and craftsman: shall be heard no more at all in her. The sound of industry will cease; the light of a candle shall cease; and the voice of the Bridegroom and Bride shall be heard no more in her; for by her sorceries were all nations deceived. Those that have refused the apostle's doctrine, and have set about to establish their won doctrine, shall perish. While the religious adherents of the whore and her daughters, suffer the penalty of eternal death; the Bride of Christ, will sit in the throne of God, in eternal joy, in perpetuity. (Rev 11:8; 17:1-18; 18:1-24).
The word 'Bride' means: "to veil". The word 'marriage' means: "to dwell together as one flesh" and do the duties of marriage. The phrase: "all in all" means: the rest place or position of everything in it's own order. There are diversities of operations, but it is, the same God which works 'All In All'. 'All', means: any, every, the whole. The word: 'in' denotes a fixed position of rest in place, time or state. In reference to the gifts of the spirit; 'All in All': means: "operating mightily throughout". The gifts of the spirit operate, mighty throughout the body of Christ; to edify the entire body, without regard for differences. The operation throughout the body is, mighty toward God. It is the dynamic work of the spirit of God. The meaning of: 'All In All" turns on, the work of, the one same spirit. The oneness and unity of the spirit gives us the meaning of: 'All In All'. The body is one. The spirit is One. The members are many, but the body and spirit is one. All members by one Spirit are all baptized into one body. We all are made to drink of one Spirit. (1Co 12:6; 1Co 12:12-13).
Christ the first fruits; afterward we that, are Christ's, at his coming. Then come the end, when he shall have delivered up the Bride, to God, when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. Christ, will reign, till he has put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. Christ, will put all things under his feet. When all things are put under him, Christ and his Bride will be: "the All In All'". The spirit of prophecy, will be fulfilled, in: "the All In All". Christ being raised him from the dead, sits in the throne of God, in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. In the world to come Christ will be: All in All. He will completely fill everything mightily throughout. It is given to him to be the head over all things. The Bride, is his fullness. The Bride, is his 'All In All'. At the consummation of the marriage supper, Christ will be: "the All In All". In the 'All In All' Christ will rejoce over his Bride in eternal perpetuity.
At consummation of the marriage supper; Christ will rejoice over his Bride. The Bride of Christ will be indivisibly one with God. The Bride will experience the heavenly Oneness of the Godhead. The Bride will be made completely one in the Godhead. The Bride will be wholly and totally, wrapped up in God. The end comes, when Christ delivers up the Bride to God, even the Father. When Christ will put down all rule and all authority and power. All things are under his feet. When all things are put under him, then shall the Son also himself , shall be subject unto him that, put all things under him, that God may be All In All. The literal prophecy of scripture is fulfilled. The literal prophetic, translation and transfiguration of the Bride, will have been achieved. (1Co 15:24-28; Eph 1:20-23).
Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. It shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your sting"? O grave, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1Co 15:23-58).
When all things are subdued under Christ. God will be ‘'All In All'’: Christ will take upon himself the full measure of his Bride, and entered upon the prophetic glorious dimension of the eternal Godhead. Christ is, now the object of faith. And as such, faith requires that we stay focused on Christ, the Son of God, for he is essential for our redemption. To take our eschatological eye off the Son Of God, is to stumble and fall. Faith in Christ, as the hidden eschatological God, is essential for salvation. For in this way, God in his infinite wisdom over throws the wisdom of the wise, by making faith, in a poor preacher, the necessary and essential means of salvation. In the eternal kingdom, Christ, as ‘son of God’ will not be an object of faith. Salvation history as such will have come to an end. Thus Christ enters, upon a new and more glorious phase of his Deity. His God ness without the subjection features denoted by ‘Kenosis’. At this level we can only speak of the Godhead as the: "All In All". It is a fallacy to assume that Christ “delivers up the kingdom” to another individual; or that Christ steps down or over. What is apostolic is, the totality of the Godhead is, at the perfection of beauty, in perfect Oneness. For we have already shown that God is, One infinite loving and personal being. The principle of pure monotheism must be adhered to, throughout the entire spectrum, of the history and future of the Deity.
God has set his king upon the holy hill of Zion. He shows forth all his praise in the gates. God rejoices in the salvation of his Bride. With his Bride, the beauty of the Lord shines forth in it's perfection. The Bride of Christ, is the Lord’s possession and the place where he loves to dwell. God loves, saves and protects, his Bride. For his Bride, he builds the cities of Judah. He is great in Zion. He is high above all the people. He rises to have mercy upon his Bride. The Lord builds up Zion. He appear in his glory; to declare his name and his praise in Jerusalem. The rod his strength goes out of Zion; from where he rules his enemies. The Lord shall wash away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and purge away the blood of Jerusalem, by the spirit of judgment, and the spirit of burning. The Redeemer is come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob. (Psa 2:6; 9:14; 50:2; 69:35; 87:2; 99:2; 102:13, 16, 22; 110:2; Isa 2:3; 4:4; 59:20).
The saints of old, did not receive the promise. But now these 144,000 are with Christ, on mt Zion. Their voice is heard from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder. The voice of harpers harping with their harps. They are singing a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders. Only the hundred and forty and four thousand know the song; for they were redeemed from the earth. These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which followed the Lamb wheresoever he goes. These were the saints whose graves were opened when Christ died on the cross. These are they who came out of their graves, at the resurrection of Jesus Christ. When Jesus, had cried again with a loud voice, He yielded up the ghost. The veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks split open. The graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. These are they who presented themselves alive after the resurrection of Christ. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. In their mouth guile is not found: for they are without fault before the throne of God. (Mat 27:50-53; Rev 14:2-5).
The death of Christ, established a new basis for salvation. In order for Gentiles or ethnic Jews to be saved; they must repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. For by his crucifixion on the cross, and resurrection out of death; God has established a new Israel for himself. God having put away his former wife by his death, has taken to himself a new and faithful Bride. On several occasions, when God was with angry man; he uttered that he repented, that he ever made man. When God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually; it repented the Lord, that he had made man, and it grieved him at his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repents me that I have made them. The Lord said to Moses, Go, get thee down; for the people, which you brought out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: They have turned aside from that which I commanded them: Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.
Moses besought the Lord, and said: " Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob". Moses stood in the gap and pleaded with God to extend to Israel his mercy; not on account of their goodness, but on account of his glorious name. This event gives us a glimpse into God’s divine intentions to create for himself a new people. It was alway in the heart of God, to make for himself a Bride from his own body. The fact that God made Eve from Adam's loins was prophetic of the Mystery of his Bride. First is that which is natural, than that which is spiritual. God created Adam, because he intended to create from his own loins, a man good for all eternity. God made Eve from Adam's loins, because he intended, all along, to make for himself a Bride. No one knew what was in the mind of God. The mind of God was only made manifest to the apostles; and the apostles declared God's mind to us.
As happy as God was in his eternality; as happy as he was in having the angels worship him; God did not enjoy being alone. He was alone in that the angels did not share his nature. The angels were created out of different stuff. Some had heads of eagles, lions, oxen, serpents and some of man. But only, God alone had the perfect image, of what man was intended to look like and be. God had created heaven and earth, and everything was good. But only the Sabbath was blessed; because it was prophetic of the Bride of Christ. Christ is like a Bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoicing as a strong man to run a race. Christ, cloth his Bride with the garments of salvation. Christ, covers her with the robe of righteousness. Christ, decks himself with ornaments, and his Bride adorns herself with her jewels. As a young man marries a virgin, so shall Christ marry his Bride. As a young man rejoices over his virgin; so shall Christ, the Bridegroom, rejoices over his Bride. This is not a flesh and blood rejoicing; for sexual activity is not in the Godhead. But the joy of the Godhead will excel the earthly rejoicing as light excels darkness. What a glory it will be. The baptism of the Holy Ghost, is a foretaste of this extreme joy. The almighty God will rejoice over his Bride, in the extreme. This kind of joy can only be contained and celebrated in a divine body. The Lord, shalt surely clothe his Bride with an ornament. (Psa 19:5; Isa 49:18; 61:10; 62:5).
The marriage supper of the Lamb, is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, and he sent servants, to tell them which are bidden, to come unto the marriage. Go ye into the highways, and bid many to the marriage. Many were bidden, and the Bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. These are the true sayings of God. (Mat 22:2, 4, 9, 30; 24:38; 25:10; Mar 12:25; Luk 17:27; 20:34, 35; Joh 2:1, 2; Rev 19:7-9).
The marriage supper of the Lamb, is like ten virgins, who went forth to meet the Bridegroom. While the Bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the Bridegroom comes, go ye out to meet him. And while some went to buy, the Bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. The Bridegroom is the husbandman; the Lord of hosts is his name; and Redeemer the Holy One of Israel. He is called the the God of the whole earth. The holy city, new Jerusalem, comes down from God out of heaven, is prepared as a Bride adorned for her husband. One of the seven angels said: Come here, I will show you the Bride, the Lamb's wife. (Psa 19:5; Mat 9:15; 25:1, 5, 6, 10; Joh 3:29; Isa 54:5; Rev 21:2, 9; 22:17).
Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body. Sing, O barren, thou that did not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that did not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord. For the Lord Christ, has called you as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of her youth, who was refused. Christ is the savior of the body. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. (Isa 54:1, 5, 6; Eph 5:23; Rev 19:7)
The apostles have espoused us to one husband, that they may present us as, a chaste virgin to Christ. The Bride is arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. The Spirit and the Bride say, Come. Those that hear, say, Come. Those that are athirst come. And whosoever will, let him come and take the water of life freely. (2Co 11:2; Gal 4:27; Rev 19:7-9; 21:2; 22:17).
Repent everyone of you and be baptized into the glorious name of Jesus Christ, for the remissions of Sins, and you shall receive the gift of the holy Ghost. Your soul will be lost, without baptism into the name of Jesus Christ. Your soul will be lost, without being filled with the Holy Ghost. Your soul will be lost, without steadfast continuance in the apostle's doctrine. Your soul will lost, indeed, is lost already, if you are not partakers of the apostolic doctrine. You are lost already, if your life does not exemplify, godliness. You are lost already, if you have not ceased from sin. You are lost already, if you are continuing to practice sin and worship according to a false doctrine. Bear in mind, that the servants of God are out into the highways, gathering together all as many as can be found, both bad and good: so that the marriage of the Lamb, is furnished with guests. But when the Bridegroom comes to see the guests, and find you without a wedding garment; he will ask you: "Friend, how is it that you thought to yourself to come in here, not having on a wedding garment? Especially, when a wedding garment is provided for all guest. Who do do you think you are, that you can attend my marraige feast, not giving heed to the apostles, who I sent to prepare you, for this feast? Who do you think your are? What foolishness, have possessed your soul to make you do this ? And many shall be speechless. Then the Bridegroom, shall say to his angels: "Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Friend confess your sins and repent. Friend, be baptized into the name of Jesus Christ. Friend receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Friend walk according to the apostolic rule. Friend come and enjoy the marriage supper of the Lamb! (Mat 22:10-13).
